This year we decided to give the kids books for Valentine's Day. It was so much fun choosing out books we thought the kids would enjoy. Nathan has been looking for a new series to read so we got him the first three books in
The Ranger's Apprentice series, Kielle got book 5 in the
39 Clues Series, Ada has been dying to read
Calamity Jack, Ryan loves
The Magic Tree House so we got him a
new one in that series and Tessa got the much anticipated
Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand. I'm excited to get to read these books with them!
The extra fun thing is that the
illustrator of
Rapunzel's Revenge and
Calamity Jack created an avatar of Ada as Rapunzel. We were able to receive one thanks to a promo he did during launch week of the book. We turned it into stickers for her. It is super cool and I knew she'd love it because she loves these books so much. She recognized that it was Rapunzel right away, and then after a second look realized it was her! Lovin' it!

I love my kids and my husband we spent a great day together. I made them Beef Stroganoff for Dinner with Gouda covered aparagus-yum! And topped it off with more
Molten Chocolate Cake! Delish!

The Ranger's Apprentice series is seriously chouette. And awse. If Nathan get into the books and plows through them, we've got books 7 and 8 which are not out in the US yet.
