This year on Christmas Eve, we took the kids to big hollow to go sledding. Aaron's sister, Carrie, is visiting from Chicago so she came with us. It was a lot of fun!! And it wore out the kids. Which is a good thing on Christmas Eve so that maybe they will go to bed early. Tessa was like the Energizer Bunny. She was unstoppable on those hills until she took her gloves off and got her hands cold from touching the snow. We had a lot of fun and ended the outing with a great snowball fight complete with snow down the front and back of my clothes--and then down Nathan & Kielle's backs!

What fun! We haven't had any snow this year. Maybe in February. Big Hollow is a great name for a place to go sledding!
I used to have a friend who took her kids sledding every Christmas Eve for that very reason... nice tradition. This year we had our family party on Christmas Eve... I wish that could be a tradition but it doesn't work out every year with everyone's work schedules... stupid work.
