This is what we found when we removed the carpet--beautiful hardwood floors. We are currently in the process of ripping up all the carpet and the we will be refinishing the floors. I am so excited for the finished product!!!

You know,I always heard stories of people pulling up their carpet and finding beautiful floors underneath. I tried it in our house (it's old, right?) and found moldy disintegrating carpet pad and icky wood. But hey, it got me new carpet in that room, right?
I'm glad you got the nice wood under your carpet. It's beautiful!
