Thursday was the last day of school! Tessa is now done with preschool and will go to Kindergarten next year! It will be strange for my kids to not be going to Teacher Lynda's preschool anymore! We have been going to her every year since we moved here 7 years ago!
Every year we take our kids out to lunch or dinner to celebrate the end of school. We reserved seats in the trolley part of the Trolley restaurant. It is the first time the kids have ever been able to sit there so it was kind of fun.
We spent the weekend making sure that everything on our tent trailer was working properly and stocking it for our upcoming camping trip! The kids are so excited. They were very helpful with every part of cleaning and stocking the trailer. I am so glad to see them so excited about this and hope we have lots of fun camping experiences together.
Aaron and I went on a date to see "Esperanza Rising" at BYU. I have read the book and I really like it a lot. But, as what normally happens, the play did not live up to the book. They also threw in a lot of Spanish asides that were often good for laughs for the audience except for those of us (me & Aaron) who don't speak Spanish. Oh well. We enjoyed our evening together nonetheless.
